The Entrepreneur Channel Wins 2008 Business Award
At the prestigious Surrey Business Awards held at Sandown Park, Esher, the judging panel, which included representatives from Deloitte, The Institute of Customer Service, Royal Bank of Scotland, Eagle Radio, Surrey County Council, Surrey Economic Partnership, Surrey Advertiser, University College of Creative Arts and Business Link Surrey, announced to a crowded gathering of the best of Surrey Business, the Awards for 2007/2008.
Against very stiff competition, The Entrepreneur Channel plc was given the highest accolade for a young company - The Award for Surrey Small Business of the Year.
Commenting on the Award, Operations Director, Simon Venn said "We feel honoured to have won this Award in this, our second year of trading. We would like to thank all of the companies that helped us launch this revolutionary channel for Entrepreneurs in the UK and Europe - including Sky TV, Arqiva and Webrom, who provide our fast 'video on demand' feeds, allowing our customers to watch any of our programmes 'live' on their PC at any time they choose."
To collect the Award Simon Venn was joined by Creative and Programming Director, Paul Lavers.
